This guide responds to a need at a national level in Portugal to provide pedagogical information to teachers and other professionals in the educational area, so that they can work on the themes of science, biodiversity and environmental issues related to species and habitats present in the national territory, with their students.

We aim to empower education professionals to act at a local level, either by participating in training and building the environmental awareness of their students, or by actively participating, as members of the community, in the conservation and monitoring of birds and their habitats.
